I see on TV your ads about " click it or ticket ", and wonder why people riding in the back of pickup trucks aren't ticketed. I was a First Responder in Massachusetts and had the unfortunate experience of responding to an accident involving a pickup and another vehicle. There were young children and an adult in the back of the truck and it was a bad scene . There is a seat belt law in Mass and having passengers in the back of a truck gets the driver a heavy fine. I have seen pickups with 4 or 5 people in the back , in traffic next to a South Carolina Trooper, and nothing happens. This seems to be selective enforcement.
Terrible, corrupt, liars... I hope they stop abusing their authority..
It's quite disturbing how you cannot get a trooper to respond to incidents that are happening immediately you have to wait for a return call back by that time the incident will be done and over with and no violations issued, I have to give it to the South Carolina state police they really are lax on traffic safety laws I have some 78 photos of different vehicles whether they don't have mudflaps No license plates, their loads are not covered or dropping the debris on the highway and nothing seems to ever happened I truly believe that there is no traffic safety laws for CDL drivers in the state of South Carolina!
