Not nearly as nice as pictures show it. This is a very bare bones facility. Yes there are hook ups for TV/Internet but you must set up your own account with HTC. That said the hook ups do provide good quality compared to free Wi-fi/TV at other camp grounds.
This place is good for those who want to be alone. I do not recommend it for families with children. There is no play ground, pool or other amenity for children. The bike/walking trail is primitive and rough. The steps are over ground in most cases and in one case lead directly into a tree. The deck/picnic area is in need of serious cleaning and repair. The entire facility is in need of cleanup and repair. The two sheds are full of unused parts and equipment. There is one abandoned vehicle that is an eyesore. It is over grown with weeds and the tires are flat. The roads are in need of grading.
Beautiful view ...great fishing ..beutiful..relaxing environment...be one with nature
We found this RV Park in the Good Sam's book. Being new to Good Sam's we did not fully understand how to find their parks. This is Definitely NOT a Good Sam's Park. We called and they told us $45 per night, CASH, full hook-ups, no cable or internet (this is only for the long term people). We arranged a sight. ,She gave me another number to call when we were close, her husband would check us in. We got there and called, we waited about 15 min. for him to show up. There was NO office, NO laundry, just a shower house on the corner of the property. She told me we would be backed up to the lake in a shaded spot. We were backed up to a ditch with trees growing in it facing the slough part of the "Lake". The hook-ups were on the wrong side of the camper forcing us to wait until we were leaving to move the camper to dump our tanks. There was NO trash dumpster. We had to drive it up the road 2 mi. to the local recycling plant. We should have followed our instincts and went on when they told us CASH. Definitely when we saw the sights, or lack there of. I would strongly suggest NOT staying at this park.
No wifi, no pool. To get a full hookup as we were there a week, we were put between two houses away from the "campground." Good for a onenight stand, and the owner was super nice.
Great place for the long or short haul. The owner is oustanding, really makes you feel like a guest. Thanks Tim
If you like solitude and being away from things then this may be your place.
One MAJOR consideration is this is a CASH only park and DOES NOT provide any refunds at all. We learned this the hard way as we paid for 2 1/2 months in advance then had to leave early for a family emergency at home. We asked for but did not receive any refund of any kind. So pay a week at a time. There is little danger that you will lose your spot at any time. Most of the spots look unused year round. There were more units stored than in use when we were there in Feb-Mar 2015 .
