It did in deed have a water leak around the rear glass that we are in the process of have repaired by an outside vendor but due to the adverse weather we had to postpone the repair.

I was suckered in off their web pages. They promise a "great deal", an "e-price (just click the button), and "great savings". I saw a vehicle I liked, filled out the information request and sent it in. A salesperson answered and I made an appointment to see and drive the vehicle.

Full price, minus the manufacturer's rebate. I was completely shocked! Not only was I not offered the "great deal" and "great savings" but they were "discounting" the vehicle with MY manufacturer's rebate. That's the cash offered to the customer by the vehicle manufacturer as an incentive to buy from them.

The water leak will be fixed as agreed but all repairs requested of this customer are the sole responsibility of them.

This review is a total fabrication of false accusations. The vehicle they purchased had never gone through our shop due to the higher miles on it however they were offered an extended warranty at time of delivery and declined the offer. This truck was sold “As Is” with all the documentation in the deal jacket signed and due upon request.

Update: Yes Bill, He used the KBB link that is through your dealership, on your website. If anyone would like to see the emails, please free to contact him. He has all sent and received emails that Bill magically can't find anymore.

Response from the owner

Beware!!! Found a vehicle online that I liked and got a trade-in value quote. Was probably contacted by Michelle a member of the Internet sales team and I express that with the low trade quote I would not be able to afford the truck. I told her my maximum out-of-pocket expense after trade-in and that I did not want to waste either of our time trying to afford a truck that I could not. She responded that she would talk to her manager and see if that price on that vehicle was doable. She then responded again and said that they would be willing to do that deal. After driving all the way there, the sales manager who agreed on the deal according to Michelle was rude and condescending about paying the amount that I stated in the email. He expected me to pay $7000 more than what I told Michelle was my maximum and she said the managers agreed. Then have the nerve to say that I wasn’t being flexible in my dollar amount despite clearly stating in the email what my maximum amount was. It wasn’t an issue with the trade condition as they offered exactly what I was quoted initially online. They just refused to discount the vehicle what they agreed to. Please everyone BEWARE!! They will flat out lie to you to get you through the door and then become very rude when you don’t want to pay a higher amount than once agreed-upon.

When I got there, after a long drive, I opened the showroom door and there was no reception area to ask for my contact, just a bunch of booths with salespeople. I thought that was odd. That should have been my clue to leave but I stayed and eventually found my salesperson. I drove the vehicle and came back in to fill out the paperwork. The salesperson left and when they came back I was presented the offer.

I was so upset that I just got up and left. To me that is flat out false advertising. I won't be back to that place, ever!

My response : My truck has 88000 miles and your sales person Brandon and the shop told us an inspection was done . So who is telling the truth . You had my truck a week and the leak is still not fixed meanwhile my head liner gets damaged every time it rains . Brandon told me they would take care of the issues I have with the truck . Maybe you should tell the truth when you sell a vehicle and not lie to make a sell . Your salesman should not say something was done when it wasn't . He said the oil gets changed and it goes through an inspection before it goes on the lot to be sold , that is a lie . My oil was changed the week you had it to fix the leak . I have been lied to since day one . It's a good thing I have all the text msgs saved . I will be seeking legal services and I will file a complaint on everything and ever site possible . I got another quote to replace the fuel pump at another shop for $615.00 your shop told me $ 809.50 . That's almost a $200.00 difference for the same thing to be done . I was offered a warranty and I was told it wasn't really worth it .

Beware. False prices online and high mark ups on the sticker price in the lot. Can see prices through pictures. Spoke with a salesman over the phone about a particular vehicle and got a bad vibe based on his explanation and extra fees and things. Wouldn’t talk specifics on charges unless I came in sounds like a car salesman trick. I’ve had other local dealers email me the exact numbers. I read through some reviews on a few different sites and decided to take my business elsewhere based on practices mentioned and latest sarcastic responses to reviews. Not sure if change of ownership or what but doesn’t sit well. It’s too bad, they had a vehicle in the color and features I really wanted. Now I need to keep looking around.

On 12/07/2017 I purchased a 2010 Ford F-150 . When I purchased the truck I was told it went through a so many point inspection and the oil had been changed . The truck never had an inspection and the oil was not changed before I purchased the vehicle . My truck has a leak around the back glass that was agreed they would fix . They had my truck one week of the three weeks I have owned it and the truck is still leaking . I called them back and I had an appointment to take it back on 12/26/17 and they call me that morning to cancel since it was cold and the guy couldn't work on it . I was told by my salesman Brandon Page when I purchased it that everything was good and it went through the inspection and they would fix the things I had a issue with . The rotors are no good the front end shakes bad when you slow down and it makes a clunk noise when you stop like the brakes are sticking or the transmission has issues . So that is around $400.00 to replace the brakes and rotors . The mechanic looked at it and said the clunk was the transmission down shifting . I have to pay to replace the brakes and rotors . The truck is still leaking like crazy and I have a water stain all across the headliner at the back glass . On top of that all on 12/27/2017 my truck want start . I have put less than 400 miles on this vehicle in the two out of three weeks I have owned it . They agreed to pay to have it towed to the dealership . The shop calls me this morning and it is going to be $880.00 to replace the fuel pump . My husband speaks to a manager named Frank and said I bought the truck as is and they would not help fix it and that I should trade it for a vehicle with warranty . I have been nothing but lied to since day one about this truck , and to top it off they tried to charge me more for the truck that what they told me the price was but I caught it on the paperwork . This place is a joke and all they do is lie to you . I promise I will never buy another vehicle from this place . This place don't deserve the one star I was forced to put in order to post . Thank you Brandon and Frank . Franks response was to trade it for a vehicle with a warranty and if they helped fix every used car they sold they would go broke . I would hate to be known for screwing people over to make that bottom dollar . My the good lord bless you .

I personally know Seth who wrote the previous negative review and have been speaking with him each day about this and I find it to be a real shame that they did not do the original deal with him. He showed me all the emails and it was clear as day that they agreed to his price and there was no room for misinterpretation. He said he spoke with Bill, the general manager who made a counter offer despite agreeing that the emails led him to believe that they had agreed on Seth's price. The deal wasn't a bad one but it was still higher than what his employee agreed on. Its a shame they don't stand by their agreements that they make to get you in the door. He was excited to get this truck. Its a real shame that a dealer would treat a potential customer this way. I'd definitely recommend using the dealer closer to Carolina Forest or the one in Pawleys over using this dealership just based on how wrong they did him. I won't even give them another chance to screw me over but reading over his emails, they deserve a 1 star.
